Are you looking for the perfect holiday gift for your Paleo loved one? Well, look no further. I have compiled a list of my favorites for every Paleo lover on your list!
1. So number one is a biggie. But, hey, go big or go home, right?
This thing is ridiculously amazing. My husband and I sat spellbound while the QVC spot aired. Yes, it is incredibly expensive. Yes, it seems like money like that should go to something more important (i.e.: boring) like… say… tires. But, man if you can swing it. Do it. Your family will all be eternally grateful. (Ok, well I would be if it was me doing the receiving.)
2. The Paleo Bible. Ok, well not THE BIBLE, but a handbook you should live with. You know, maybe you need two copies. One for your purse and one for home.
Amaze-ball recipes, plus meal plans. I mean, who in this day and age doesn’t need meal plans? Seriously. I barely have time (or the brain power) to remember to defrost food. I NEED a meal plan. Diane gives you 30 days people. Plus tear out guides. That is one of my favorite parts…. tear outs. It’s like a bonus gift. Off topic – don’t you love the tear outs from Rachael Ray’s magazine? *smile*
3 and 4. Flours. Yes, flours. And, you need more than one. When baking especially, it is great to have the variety.
So every time I get a new recipe it seems like I need a new type of flour. Do everyone a favor and just buy both of these. They cover the majority of things. And, besides, you never know when I’ll need to come borrow a cup of flour. It’s not like I can pick this up at the corner 7-11.
5. Soy Sauce Replacement – Yes, there is such a thing.
This stuff is seriously da-bomb. If you want to make Asian food of any kind, this is the stuff. You will use it more than you think on anything from stir fry to spare ribs to beef jerky. Of course, you may still need to head to the Asian market for the moqua and opo. Yes, those are real vegetable. Google it already!
Stay tuned for 6 through 10. It’s near cocktail hour and I could sure use a swizzle stick about now.
